1. Choose colors that complement each other and the location. If you're planning on using your engagement photos for your save-the-dates or wedding website, you'll want to avoid anything too casual.
2. Stay away from logos or busy patterns.
3. Dress for the season. If you're taking photos in the fall, embrace the season with some cozy sweaters or a cute scarf. You'll be doing a lot of walking (and maybe even some sitting or lying down on the ground), so make sure you're comfortable.
4. Accessorize. A great necklace or earrings can really dress up a look. But don't go over the top with accessories.
5. Think about the overall look you want to achieve. Do you want a romantic feel? A casual vibe? Something in between? Since it's an engagement session, you might want to consider wearing something that has special meaning to you as a couple (like the dress you wore on your first date or the shirt he was wearing when he proposed).
Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident but appropriate for the session. After all, this is your engagement session and you should feel like a rockstar!
Send us a message here if you'd like to book a session or if you still have any questions, we'll be happy to get back in touch!
The booking of sessions is based on the photographer's availability. Nothing is considered final until a contract is signed and appropriate fees are obtained.
